NE UMA Committee
Meet the incredible team behind the New England Urban Music Awards. We are looking for motivated, energetic new members for the 2009-2010 year. If interested, please contact us with your resume and/or experience. Open positions include Secretary, Director of Marketing, and Director of Music. You should be available to meet Thursday evenings from September – April. If you are unable to make such a commitment, you can also volunteer on your own schedule.
ToRena Webb – Chair

Carla Sheffield – Director of Volunteering and Sponsorship

Director of Marketing
Forging partner relationships, managing marketing activities, drafting e-newsletters, working with Director of Technology on social media initiatives.
Director of Music
Recruit and audition performers, integrate performances into show flow, work with venue’s sound crew
Secretary
Assist Chair in coordination of tasks, responsible for meeting minutes and communications.
