Eligibility and Rules

***Due to a late surge in demand, the nomination and submission package deadline has been extended to February 28 at 5pm***

Although any artist can be nominated, all nominees must submit the following criteria along with a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE processing fee to move on to the voting round.  If you are nominated for multiple categories, you must submit a separate package for each category.  Packages received after the deadline date will not be eligible.

Submission packages must be emailed to neuma2011package@gmail.com, sunshine@urbanmusicawards.org and tlawson@urbanmusicawards.org by Friday, February 18, 2011.  You must also submit complete contact information including Name, Stage Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email Address and Website.

Click the link below to pay your $25 NON REFUNDABLE Nomination Processing Fee.  Artists must pay $25 NON REFUNDABLE Nomination Processing Fee for EACH category that you wish to be nominated.    You will receive a written notification once your payment has been received.


NOTE:  The New England Urban Music Awards Entertainment Committee will NOT review or consider ANY submission packages from artists that have NOT paid their $25 NON REFUNDABLE processing fee.

All nominees must submit:

Clear head shot (200+ dpi)
Contact information including phone number and preferred email address
Category (e.g. R&B-Group)

Vocalists and Musicians must submit:
Three (3) radio clean song snippets w/out cursing or bleeps

DJs must submit
Three (3) clean mix samples

Radio Personalities must submit
Three (3) three-minute air checks

Producers must submit
Three (3) samples of work produced

Promoters (Concert or Show) must submit
Three (3) flyers of past events within the last year

Dance/Choreographers must submit
One (1) three-minute performance video (can be a link to your website if it contains video)
